How can we help?
Find answers about the Daily Reset, streaks, reminders, favorites and notes, the widget, ads and privacy choices, and your local data.
Common questions
How does the Daily Reset work?
On the Home screen, tap Start today’s reset. Pick what you need right now, write a sentence or two, choose one small action, and tap Complete today’s reset. It takes about a minute. If you picked the wrong need, tap Change need before you complete it.
How is my streak counted?
Your streak counts the days in a row you complete a Daily Reset. Tap the flame counter at the top of the Home screen to see your recent days. Your weekly progress and badges are in the Library.
Why am I not getting reminders?
Reminders are local notifications, so iOS must allow them. If Settings in the app shows Notifications are off, tap Open Notification Settings and turn on Allow Notifications. Then check that your daily, morning, evening, or custom reminders are switched on in the app’s Settings. Custom reminders need at least one weekday selected.
Where are my favorites, notes, and reflections?
Tap the Library button at the top of the Home screen. Favorites are listed there; tap one to open it on Home, or swipe to remove it and tap Undo if you change your mind. Reflections and notes shows your completed resets and quote notes.
How do I edit or delete a note?
Open the quote and tap Note. Edit the text and tap Save, or clear all the text and tap Delete. You can also swipe a note in Reflections and notes to delete it.
How do I find a quote?
Use the search bar at the bottom of the Home screen to search by words in the quote or by author. Tap a result to open it. Category chips at the top filter quotes by topic; choose All to return to today’s quote.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit and then Add Widget, search for Daily Motivation, choose a size, and add it. If it doesn’t appear right after installing, open the app once and try again.
How do I change the look of the app?
Open Settings (the gear button) and go to Appearance to choose a color pack, quote font, and background. The preview shows your choice before you leave Settings.
Why does the app show ads, and what are my choices?
Ads keep Daily Motivation free. The app asks for permission before using your device’s advertising identifier; you can change this anytime in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. In regions that require it, you can review your consent in the app under Settings > Ad privacy choices.
How do I stop sharing usage and crash data?
Open Settings in the app and turn off Share usage and crash data. This stops anonymous usage analytics and crash reports. Your favorites, notes, and reflections are never uploaded either way.
How do I delete all my data?
Open Settings in the app, choose Reset all local data, and confirm. This removes favorites, notes, Daily Resets, streaks, preferences, and reminders from your device and resets the app’s analytics identifier. Deleting the app also removes its local data.
Does Daily Motivation need an account?
No. There’s no sign-up or login, and the app is free to download.
